The Task Icon Palette

The Task Icon Palette contains the Task Icons used to create a Script. Each Task Icon contains built in programming related to the task it performs. Most of the options can customized by simply selecting a radio button or check box. Others use "default" settings which can be used or replaced as desired.

Task Icons are placed on the Script Page in a logical flowchart order. Most will require some degree of customization before they will perform as needed. The flowchart of Task Icons is connected together with a "stretchy" flow line which you drag from one Task Icon to another to create a connection.

The Script Pages

The Script Editor allows you to create subroutines which may be accessed by other Task Icons. Each FOLDER Task Icon provides additional Script "windows" containing another 20 pieces of "paper" for Scripting.

The Tools Palette

The Tools palette (in the border at the bottom of the Script window) contains tools for moving Script items, a Text tool, a Quick Help tool for instant access to the DUET help and the Zoom buttons to change the Script view mode. The Text tool provides a convenient way to annotate Scripts and place remarks/notes where you need them. The Zoom buttons change the display to enlarge or reduce the view from 100% to a full reduction so that up to the entire 20 pages may be viewed at the same time.

The Script can be edited even in the extreme reduced views.

The Natural Sound Editor

The Natural Sound Editor is an important tool to aid you in creating your telephony Scripts. With it, you can record, edit and save sound files in any of several different sound file formats, including Macintosh and PC voice board formats.

NS editor Pic

The NS Editor display lets you open sound files and view them as a Wave Form which can be selected, cut, copied and pasted. In TFLX, the NS Editor can convert 22K files into 11K files and, in DUET, it can also BATCH CONVERT sound files into specific file formats for the PC. This allows you to record and edit sound files and then convert the entire group without having to individually open and save each file.
